I have been working on a quilt that is two years in the making thank goodness my friend doesn't know about it or she would think I am crazy......I am quilting it by machine in a feather stitch, it is turning out pretty nice.
I'll take a picture of it tomorrow when it is finished.
California is in a state of emergency, there are wild fires every where, it is so sad so many homes are lost and the wild life is suffering, horses are scared and don't have any where to go. My sisters home is very close to the fires, she hasn't had to evacuate yet but it's close. Shelena say's the sky's are so black and the santa anna winds have been horrible. Gary and I were talking and we decided that we need to have a fire box with our wedding pictures and family photo's in it since for us those can't be replaced...So if I only had five minutes to pick-up and leave I will grab our dogs, our fire box and a change of clothing...I hope all of you have a beautiful day....

Good idea about the fire box. Canberra had some terrible fires coming up 5 years ago and 500 homes were lost - it was terrifying and we were still 10kms away from the front. We'd grab our computer if anything happened here, as all our photos are on that!
